Ryoten: A Sustainable Umbrella for Sun and Rain
Ryoten is a lightweight, eco-friendly umbrella inspired by the traditional Japanese ryoten used in the Edo period. Made with washi-style nonwoven fabric and 36 bamboo ribs, it’s about half the weight of a typical vinyl umbrella.

Designed for both sunny and rainy days, Ryoten features an inward-closing structure that keeps your clothes dry. All parts can be disassembled for recycling, and broken ribs can be repaired—making it a long-lasting alternative to disposable umbrellas.
